So I’ve been hearing God talk about “light” for so long now through scriptures, and people and sermons and even His voice on the inside. Finally, yesterday I asked Him, “How?” How do I shine. What does that actually mean? The gist of it is this – making vision possible for others by making your thoughts known. That happens through what we do, who we help, how we serve. It’s how we express our testimonies of what God has done for us. What we know about Jesus and about our heavenly Father should make us get up and be more than church-goers. We shine light by being actively like Jesus in everyday life – not just for events and special occasions. We are light in how we execute whatever we do, how we finish and follow through, how we improve, day by day. It’ how we go to work, how we take care of ourselves, how we take care of our families.
There are so many ways to let your light shine in ways that impact the world for Him.
God knows the thoughts He thinks towards us (Jer 29:11). The world should know the thoughts we think towards Him (Rom 1:16). Doesn’t He deserve it?
